lovely daughter childrens acoustic guitarsI have been a supportive parent and have watched my older son learn to play the drums in high school band and now as part of a band with three of his friends.  He is starting a career in the banking business but drums will always be his first love.  Now my very youngest daughter seems to also want to pursue music as a hobby and maybe one day a career.  She wants to play guitar so my wife and I have begun looking at childrens acoustic guitars

We want to get her some acoustic guitar lessons taught by a professional.  We hope that learning to play the beginner acoustic guitar will offer her not only a wonderful hobby but also teach her discipline, patience and self respect.  She has a birthday and January and I think she will be very happy for the gift of music with a childrens acoustic guitar!

father childrens acoustic guitarsPlaying acoustic guitar has been an American pastime for many years.  Our family has enjoyed the guitar for several generations and so it is no surprise that our son has requested an acoustic guitar for Christmas.  I am very happy and because he is only nine years old we will begin looking at childrens acoustic guitars.  I am sure we will not have too much difficulty since we have many contacts who will point us in the direction of some good kids acoustic guitars.

My father played the guitar and banjo while I was a kid.  Both my brother and I have played guitar throughout our lives and my nephew plays acoustic and electric guitar in a band.  I am happy that my son wants to play and I believe that it will inspire me even more to play.  I am very excited for Christmas!

skw11Music has been a popular means of expression from young to old for many years. So when the desire to participate in music and to learn to play an instrument is expressed by a youngster then it is right to encourage and help them where ever possible. With the guitar being one of the most popular instruments in the world today then, it is not surprising that the question of guitar lessons for kids should arise.  It is amazing how many really good quality childrens acoustic guitars are available.

There are some really good multimedia courses of guitar lessons which because of their professionalism and pedigree can deliver what they say they will on the box. These courses can and will keep students both young and not so young invested and learning good technique.  Because of the variety and the depth in the content they deliver a real learning experience providing guitar lessons for kids of all ages.

teacher childrens acoustic guitarsI am a music teacher and a parent.  I have seen for years how kids instruments have provided not only an important hobby but taught discipline, skill, and the importance of experiencing passion!  I have watched many of my students in their budding music careers.  My two older children first learned to play guitar on good quality and easy to learn childrens acoustic guitars.  They still play guitar to this day and while they both have their own careers they still enjoy playing and believe that this hobby has added so much dimension to their lives.

I love children and I have enjoyed sharing the love of music with them!  I have seen for many years that kids who develop hobbies at a young age often do better scholastically and go on to good careers.  I will be retiring from teaching in a couple of years but my love for music will always endure!

daniel childrens acoustic guitarsThe acoustic guitar is a popular instrument in our family.  Both of my parents played and performed in our area.  I have played off and on throughout the years and now both my son and daughter are expressing an interest to play.  We are very delighted but also hope that they don’t have to play.  With the holidays literally just around the corner we are really giving serious consideration to purchasing some quality childrens acoustic guitars!

We have some very good instructors in our family who have a lot of experience and will provide acoustic guitar lessons.  We also know of some really good learn to play guitar books and DVD’s. It is all very exciting and I believe the love of guitar has actually brought our family closer together.   I think it will be a fine Christmas!

ivan childrens acoustic guitarsMusic has been a part of our family for more years than I can remember.  Both of my parents sing in our church choir and my parents also perform in a singing chorale throughout the year.  All of us kids have been exposed to many different types of music.  My kid brother seems to want to play the guitar and I think my parents are going to help my brother Ivan follow this interest.  They told me that they have been checking out different types of childrens acoustic guitars.  Ivan is going to be SO excited on Christmas morning.

So now that my parents have warmed up to this idea, maybe they will consider getting me a beginner electric guitar.  I have been dying to get one for many years and now my parents see how affordable they are.  I can see it now, one day Ivan and I will “jam” together on our very cool guitars!  Well maybe in a few years.   We’ll see.

Playing Guitar With My Daughter

sally amatuer guitarsWhen I began playing the guitar many years ago I basically taught myself.  I didn’t have a lot of money and my parents basically scrounged to find the money to get the guitar.  My older cousin Gary who played bass guitar in a local band gave me lessons when he had time.  Now as a parent there are so many good quality and amazingly cheap amateur guitars online that weren’t available to me when I was a kid.  My daughter Sally says she wants to play the acoustic guitar.  I have begun looking not only for childrens acoustic guitars but also acoustic guitar lessons.

Christmas is just around the corner and I know this will be the perfect gift for Sally.  I am slightly more enthusiastic about getting a childrens acoustic guitar than my wife because I know firsthand how much joy it has brought me.  Who knows maybe one day she and I will be able to perform together!

karen childrens acoustic guitarsWhat will Santa have on his sleigh this year?  If my daughter Karen has any say whatsoever there will be a childrens acoustic guitar.   I am happy to try and honor this request for her but my husband and I both know that the budget is tight ever since he lost his job five months ago.  He takes odd jobs here and there but we do struggle somewhat.

I have been looking online to price childrens acoustic guitars and have to say that I thought they would cost a lot more than they do.  So perhaps we can afford this for Karen as well as some good learn to play guitar DVD’s.  I think Karen will be delighted with what Santa will bring her down the chimney this year!
