One Musical Family!

My daughter has shown interest in music and actually seems to have some natural musical ability.  My husband and I noticed that when she was a child she would tap the edge of her crib in a specific rhythm.  As a toddler when music was being played on the house my daughter would take her hand and clap to the beat or pretend she was playing the drums with whatever she could get her hands on. She has watched both my husband and I play guitar and she will start to sing and pretend to play the guitar at the same time.  My husband and I have begun to look at acoustic guitars for children as we feel that this would be the ‘perfect’ birthday gift for her!

I love my daughter and want to teach her the importance of being the person she is truly meant to be.  If guitar isn’t it then that is ok with us.  I know she will go through many phases during her lifetime and we expect this, (provided they are decent and safe).  She really seems to love music and I do believe that a childrens acoustic guitar will be a wonderful birthday gift for her!

Our adorable seven year old daughter that we adopted four years ago has been playing acoustic guitar for the past 6 months.  We admire her commitment to this hobby and now see how serious she is about learning to play the childrens acoustic guitar.  While searching for acoustic guitars for kids we had no idea how much joy this little guitar would bring!  We hope to begin acoustic guitar lessons so that she can learn proper technique and really let her spirit soar!!

We have great kids and we really believe that supporting their interests shows them that they are important and that we are 100 % behind them!  I am a great believer in getting kids started in hobbies early so they can explore various interests and really begin to see what makes them tick!!

Christmas day is here and if we haven’t made the right decisions regarding gift selection there’s no second guessing it now.  In particular we are excited to give our ambitious and happy go lucky daughter a beginner kids guitar!  We know how much she enjoys the guitar and so we began searching for beginner childrens guitars a month ago to find the best fit for our daughter.    We also purchased some learn to play guitar DVD’s and books that seem like they would be very helpful for her.

Every year we rack our brains for the perfect gifts we know our children will love.  I think that for the most part we do a pretty good job and I feel sure that a childrens acoustic guitar will be a HUGE hit with our daughter!  We wish you a Merry Christmas.  We wish you a Merry Christmas.  We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My niece has spent many weekends with me for many years!  My brother is a single parent and often works long shifts on weekends.  My boyfriend and I are overjoyed to be a part of my niece’s life. She is such a “happy go lucky” and giving child that we practically consider one of our own.  My brother has played acoustic guitar throughout his life and still plays local gigs where my niece and I are often in the audience cheering him on!  As Christmas is approaching, my boyfriend and I are SO sure what we need to get Gabby this year, a childrens acoustic guitar!

My brother will be delighted because he is such a good father and only wants the best for his “little girl”.  He seems to know a lot about guitars for kids and can point us in the direction of some good places to look.  I would not be surprised if one day my niece joins her uncle and his buddies on stage!  I am very sure that a kids acoustic guitar will give my niece and our family more joy than ever imagined!

Christmas day seems far away but will be here before we know it and we need to be ready with gifts and cards for our loved ones including the right amount of toys for our son.  We are thinking of getting him an acoustic guitar as he is fascinated with this instrument like his Daddy.  We know how much he enjoys talking about guitars in general and so we have started looking at acoustic guitars for children.  We have bookmarked some great websites on the internet and know that we need to order soon. We also want to purchase some learn to play guitar DVD’s and books that seem like they would be very helpful for him.

Every year we rack our brains for the perfect gifts that we know our loved ones and son will really love.  I think that overall we do pretty well and I really think a childrens acoustic guitar will be a hit!  We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy 2011!

The Beautiful Sound of Music!!

My daughter and I have a special bond, we always have.  Even thought she is only eight years old, I felt a kinship with her since the day she was born.  She has grown up listening to my wife and I  play guitar and has watched intently as my wife, myself and even her uncle play folk , country, or whatever we feel like.  We once watched her pick up a tennis racquet and pretend to pluck and strum the strings only to stub her pinky finger (which resulted in a lot of tears but still didn’t deter her).  So I said to my wife ok, we need to do something about this, honor her passion and get her a kids acoustic guitar for her ninth birthday.

I am having a lot of fun looking and searching for kids acoustic guitars. My wife has been looking too and tomorrow we will compare notes and come up with a childrens acoustic guitar that is of good quality, affordable and irresistible to our young budding musician!   At this point, we seem to be just as excited as our daughter!

For The Love Of Guitar!!

My husband loves country music and blue grass music just about more than anything else in life.  His enthusiasm seems to have rubbed off our children, most particularly our son Ethan.  My husband enjoys playing acoustic guitar and Ethan seems to relish the time he gets to spend with his father watching him play.  We would love nothing more than to surprise Ethan this Christmas with his very own childrens acoustic guitar! My husband has a lot of connections and seems to have quite a lot of friends who really know guitars and know where to find quality beginner childrens guitars

I am so excited to know that we can find a good affordable kids acoustic guitar and have it sent to us well before his birthday at the end of October!   Ethan’s older brother also shares the family passion of loving to play guitar and is actually a bass guitarist in a local band.   We also started him with a beginner guitar and saw amazing results!  One day I know I’ll be sitting in the front row watching my husband and two sons play together!!

My daughter seems to show some natural musical ability.  As an infant she would tap the edge of her crib in a specific rhythm.  As a small child when music was being played in our home my daughter would take her hands and clap to the beat or pretend she was playing the drums or guitar with whatever object was available.  She has watched both of her parents play acoustic guitar and she will start to sing and pretend to play ‘air’ guitar at the same time.  My wife and I have begun to look at kids acoustic guitars as we really believe this would be the ‘perfect’ birthday gift for her!

I love my daughter and want to teach her the importance of being the person she is truly meant to be.  If guitar isn’t it then so be it.  I know she will try on ‘many new hats’ in her lifetime and this is fine with us, (as long as she doesn’t get into anything illegal!).  She really seems to love music and I do believe that a childrens acoustic guitar will make for a very wonderful birthday for her!!

Igniting My Daughter’s Passion!

I love it when I see any type of enthusiasm in my children.  Finding a passion isn’t always easy for children so when I see that one of my children is excited about something I want to nurture it and really get involved in it as much as I can!   My daughter has been expressing an interest for some time now in learning to play acoustic guitar.  She is only seven years old so I immediately began researching acoustic guitars for children.  I am quite pleased with the selection I have found and plan to give my daughter a  really cute childrens acoustic guitar for her eight birthday in September!

Our family has fallen on some hard times recently as my wife was laid off from her job over the winter and my father passed away in May and it is important that we continue to celebrate life in any way we can!  As a parent I believe it is my job to help my children to be all they can be and show them that even in the bad times there’s a silver lining in every cloud!

Tips for Buying A Kids Guitar

Have you noticed that your child has an aptitude for music? Do they enjoy playing air guitar when they hear music?  Here are some important tips when choosing a guitar for your son or daughter. First, make sure the guitar is small enough for your kid’s body. Children under five don’t really have the ability to play a string guitar so you want to begin this age group with toy guitars that light up, or play music with easy to touch buttons. Once your child can graduate from these basic toys, you can “upgrade” to toy guitars with strings, amplifiers, and microphones.  Once your child gets to be 5 – 7 years old, you can purchase several different styles of guitars for kids. These guitars usually differ in size based on a fraction from the normal size (a 3/4 guitar would be larger than a 1/4 guitar)..

You can also purchase a kids electric guitar which have a much different sound and require an amplifier to obtain the full sound. Make sure your child will not be disturbing any neighbors as he/she rocks out. It is often a good idea to have your child learn to play guitar with a childrens acoustic guitar before purchasing an electric guitar.  Whatever you choose to do, remember learning an instrument won’t only be rewarding for your child but musical children also tend to have better attention spans and do better in school. Also playing an instrument will be a productive, social hobby that can prove to be very healthy in their developmental years and for many years to come!
