My nephew, LOVES to play electric guitar in a local band! It is his true passion in life and it is what keeps him going. His mother and I, (my nephews’ father passed away last year and I live with my sister to help out as I love the boys like they were my own) want him to go off to college next year but also know that he will continue to play bass guitar in his band. Now my ten year old nephew wants to get into the act as well. My sister and I have begun our search for childrens electric guitars.
Money is an issue for us since I am the only one working at present. We are searching now so that we can find a good deal that can be shipped in time for Christmas. I must say that we have really found some cheap electric guitars that are quality products. I am convinced that my nephew will be quite pleased as we will be sure to pick a ‘really’ cool guitar for him! I know that my seventeen year old nephew will also be happy because soon he will be able to jam with his younger brother. I can hardly wait until Christmas day!
What do you do with a very limited budget and a kid who swears that the only thing he wants most for his birthday is a beginner electric guitar! At first I said, “no way, No Way, NO WAY!” But then upon further investigation I began to discover that there are some very affordable beginner electric guitars online! I just want to let parents know that there are some great websites that actually do promote cheap electric guitars!
Mom and Dad will be good this year after all I just hope that we can also find some cheap ‘kittens’ for our little girl as well! Maybe one of our children will get us a ‘cheap’ mortgage on a new house!
Do you want to buy a good quality acoustic guitar but finances are getting in your way? You might be surprised to know that you can have your own guitar without compromising the quality for a price you can easily afford. Sound too good to be true? The reason cheap acoustic guitars are available at low prices is because they are made of inexpensive materials. This is also true of many other types of guitars as well. In the manufacturing process of these instruments, low-priced material is used from wood to strings and from straps to chords. But, if you want, you can replace the parts with the high quality parts later. You will get better sound from your guitar if you replace its cheap pickups. You can also change the tuners and it will improve the performance of your instrument. You can use the branded guitars accessories later. Today, you can buy guitars from all top brands. All the major guitar manufacturers now have their manufacturing plants in Asian countries where raw material and labor is available at reasonable rates. Thus, these companies are able to offer cheap guitars to their customers.
When you buy a cheap guitar, search for an instrument that is made of woods like rosewood, walnut or hickory and avoid instruments made of composite materials as most guitars made with cheap materials do not produce a good sound. You can get a good quality cheap guitar for a price of around $100. Paying less than this would not be worth your time. Both cheap electric guitars and cheap acoustic guitars appear to suit beginners perfectly. There are a vast variety of guitar models available in the market for you. You can find almost any type of guitar in the guitar market cheap electric guitar, a cheap acoustic guitar, cheap bass guitar, acoustic guitars and special classical guitars. It is advisable to check the ratings & reviews of the online guitar stores before buying a guitar. There are many sites where you can get reviews of the different online guitar shops.
I have been doing an extensive search for cheap electric guitars. You see my son who just began playing in a local band with his friends needs a new guitar. He knows what he wants and we are trying to find it for him but it has to be in our price range. We try to support our kids but we can’t always get everything they want. We need to teach them the value of money as well as the fact that they need to work hard for it.
Our son has had a love of guitars before he could even say the word “guitar”. As a toddler we bought him a toy guitar. When he reached the age of eight, we bought him a kids electric guitar for his birthday and believe me we more than got what we paid for, he practically wore the thing out!! We are happy to support him as he is a pretty good student and for the most part has done very well in school. He has been mowing the lawn this summer and this money will go toward the new amateur guitar. Parenting is never easy but overall we feel we can count our blessings!
My kids have a good life and even though money is tight we make the most of it. My daughter just completed her first year in college and I do what I can to help her out financially. She wants to go to graduate school to become a psychologist and I know she will be very good at this! My youngest son brightens up the whole house with his energy and his smile and is most content playing with his army figures in the sandbox outside! I should be so lucky! My middle son, Steve has struggled to find himself at times, I guess you could call it the “middle child syndrome”. He likes to hang out with his friends and play guitar. He has borrowed his friend’s guitars and did buy himself a used amateur guitar with his own paper route money that lasted maybe two years at best.
As Steve approaches his fifteenth birthday I have decided to bite the bullet and get him a beginner electric guitar. I think it is a good investment since he loves it so much and obviously will get a lot of use out of it. Even as I search for cheap electric guitars online I am surprised at the good quality and affordable guitars I am seeing! I have bookmarked a couple of sites for my son to look at. It’s really good to see Steve find a niche for himself.
My husband just lost his job due to massive layoffs at his company. My job also appears tenuous and this has our family quite nervous. There is some “under the table” work we could do but it’s nothing we can count on. Our kids , (for the most part) are understanding that we really have to cut costs but it’s difficult when you live in a world of such materialism. Our kids have some wealthy friends who seem to get anything they want when they want it. Our kids see this and can’t help but be envious. We do our best to teach them that what is most important in life cannot be bought but I don’t think they have the maturity and life experience to understand this.
Our darling daughter has a birthday coming up and says that more than anything she would like beginner electric guitar. My husband and I kept saying no but upon further investigation realize that cheap electric guitars are available online and appear to be very good quality. Our daughter will be thrilled beyond belief as she is under the impression that we can’t afford to buy her an amateur guitar
It is important to tune a nylon guitar properly. If you are concerned that you can’t find an affordable guitar it is possible to find cheap electric guitars online that are very good quality. It is necessary to retune your guitar on a regular basis. Cold, heat, dry or moist conditions and even just playing the guitar will cause a guitar to go out of tune. Strings need to be replaced regularly; at least every 4 to 6 months. An electric guitar tuner can help immensely with this process. They are relatively inexpensive to buy and very easy to use! When using the guitar tuner play the bottom string of the guitar as a light (for the first or E string) will flash on the guitar tuner. Normally three lights flash for the E string giving you feedback on how the string is tuned. Therefore the one light on the left will flash if the string sounds flat (sound or pitch of the string is too low), the middle light will flash if the sound is “just right” and the other light on the right will flash if the sound is too sharp (sound or pitch of the string is too high).
The tuner may be designed with a needle that moves instead of lights. Use this in the same way as described earlier. The indicator will move down to the left if the string is too low and to the middle or top if it is “just right” (perfect sound and pitch) and then on and down to right where it is pitched too high. There are many different models and types of electronic guitar tuners being sold on the market and so it is difficult to describe how each works.
I am so glad that my family is healthy and happy. After that the rest is just icing on “the sweet cake of life”. Life is hard and when good things happen it just really seems like a blessing after all! Last week our daughteer celebrated her thirteenth birthday and never was she so excited then when she came downstairs and saw amateur drums waiting for her in the family room! The look of joy on her face was well worth all the money we spent (which actually wasn’t as much as I had anticipated!)
Now she plays and plays and plays. We are happy about this and for now seem to be tolerating the noise as well as can be expected. Our younger son seems to be getting quite a kick watching his older sister play and now is starting to hint that he wants to play electric guitar. He assures me that we can find some cheap electric guitars online as his friend Billy, (who practically lives at our house) got a really cool kids electric guitar for Christmas. We may have to mull this one over for a little while. Our younger son’s birthday isn’t until June so we do have some time to save money and look around. With five kids one does have to plan. Anyway, we are blessed to keep putting another sweet layer of icing on our cake!
Guitar lessons for kids might be one of the most beneficial things you can do for your child for a number of reasons. Music lessons benefit children in far more ways than just enabling them to play an instrument. For instance, music and mathematics go hand in hand, and in fact, music itself is very mathematical. Studies have shown that there is a correlation between the two, and music lessons can definitely have an indirect effect on your child’s mathematical reasoning. So, why take guitar lessons or all instruments? Well that’s mostly just a function of the kids’ interests. You’ve heard the horror stories of kids who were forced to take piano lessons only to grow up to hate the instrument. A lot of kids will be more interested in learning guitar simply because their favorite bands all have guitarists, whereas only a few might have pianists.
Finally, you may be saying ‘guitar lessons are expensive aren’t they?’ Well they can be, but they don’t have to be. A good one-on-one teacher will cost anywhere from $20 an hour to $50 an hour, but when your kids are just starting they should be fine with a lower cost teacher. You might consider buying your child a DVD based guitar course. Kids are amazingly in tune with technology, and tend to learn quickly from watching demonstration. There are some excellent courses that will take your kids through beginning to advanced technique, at their own speed, allowing them to learn whenever they want. Keep in mind that there are many very good quality cheap electric guitars available online or even local music stores in your area. Purchasing a kids guitar and guitar lessons will likely be well worth the investment for you and your child.
I just bought my daughter a really cute kids guitar. She loves it and I am having so much fun watching the joy it really seems to be bringing her! She has been playing her childrens guitar for several years now and it may be soon time to get her another one! That’s ok because I am amazed at how many quality but cheap electric guitars are available for children!
It is my belief that she is now ready for kids guitar lessons so not only will I get her a good instructor but also some instructional books and DVD’s. I think that despite the economy, it will be a good Christmas in our household! So now I am wondering what Santa will have on his sleigh this year?, hmm maybe a guitar for Dad as well? We shall see!
