I have driven truck most of my life. It’s not a bad living, I am able to provide for my family but it keeps me away from home for long periods of time. As a father I have tried to make up for lost time with my kids by bringing home gifts for them. Even though they appreciate this gesture, it still can not fill the void of time not spent together! I do the best I can but it’s very tough trying to earn a living and get enough good quality family time. It makes me wonder at times if it’s all worth it!
My little baby girl has a big birthday coming up and I determined more than ever not to miss it. I have decided that for her birthday this year, not only do I want to get her something that she really wants, but I also would like to spend time enjoying this birthday gift with her. My daughter knows that I have played acoustic guitar for years. She too wants to play. I have taught her a few things on my guitar but now she really wants her own! My girlfriend and I have started looking at beginner acoustic guitars online and have bookmarked some pages that we are considering as possibilities. I plan to make it more of a priority to make the very most of the time that I do have at home and I think that a beginner acoustic guitar for my daughter is a perfect way to start on that journey!
My daughter wants to be a musician and we applaud that mostly because she does her homework, researches things and wants to do things right! She says she know that she was born to play acoustic guitar. We support this and we agree with her assessment that she needs to begin learning to play on a beginner acoustic guitar. Next week we will begin shopping for beginner acoustic guitars. We will also search for a qualified instructor.
My daughter also wants to go to college and study music and we are glad that she has given thought about what is best for her future. I think it’s great that she wants to begin to learn to play an amateur guitar and most importantly, I hope she has fun! After all, you’re only young once!
I have been a fan of the guitar my whole life. I played electric bass guitar in a local band as a teenager and still occasionally play classical guitar today. It is not a surprise that my offspring also learned to love the guitar as well. My seventeen year old son also plays bass guitar in a local, hot,and up and coming band in our area. My daughter, (my baby girl) seems to really enjoy soft rock and folk music like her mother. She has requested that we get her a beginner acoustic guitar for her birthday. I really can’t think of a more perfect gift!
Having been around guitars most of my life, I have a pretty good sense where to begin looking. I also know that there are some good deals for beginner acoustic guitars online. My daughter’s birthday is in June and she has always liked that because her birthday also coincides with the end of the school year. I believe that this year she will like her birthday even more. Can’t wait!
My little girl has been begging me for guitar lessons for quite some time now. She will be turning nine next month and I have begun my search for beginner acoustic guitars. She is a good kid and I think that she is ready to learn. I even have somebody in mind to instruct her. Her older brother plays electric guitar and my daughter has looked up to him for years. We started him out with a beginner electric guitar and off he went!
I am happy when my children are happy as long as they keep their hobbies in perspective and live well balanced lives. My husband is usually very supportive as well. Life isn’t always easy but we do try to take stock of the many blessings that we do have. We look forward to future “jam” session with both of our musical children!
My daughter says that in music class at school her teacher has encouraged the class to learn to play an instrument because learning an instrument has many benefits and is also very fun! She is so excited because her friend Karla has decided that she wants to play acoustic guitar and my daughter thinks that it would be absolutely perfect if she and Karla could learn to play guitar together! Well Ok! So I have been thinking that it would be a good idea to have my daughter learn to play an instrument. So I guess I’m game.
I called Karla’s mother and she said that she found a beginner acoustic guitar that seemed to be well suited for kids their age. Karla’s mother pointed me to some websites and I am happy to see that beginner acoustic guitars aren’t as expensive as I thought they would be. Until I began this research I wasn’t even aware that they made acoustic guitars for kids. I’m so glad that my daughter and her best friend can learn to play such a wonderful instrument together!
My girls love life and put their heart and soul into whatever interests them at the moment. My oldest loves pyramids and if it were up to her we’d take a trip to Egypt next week. All my kids love music. My son plays bass guitar and has grand illusions of playing in the big time with a few of his buddies. We want to encourage him to follow his dreams as long as he keeps up with his studies and keeps the rest of his life in perspective. Our daughter sings in the choir and seems to really enjoy playing the clarinet. Now our little seven year old daughter says she wants to play guitar. My husband thinks it would be good to start our daughter Carrie on a beginner acoustic guitar.
So now we begin the search for beginner acoustic guitars. We do have some time however to look because Carrie’s birthday isn’t until April. I think Carrie will be very pleased. I know she wants to follow in the family tradition. She will join the Children’s Choir at church next year and now she can add guitar to her repertoire. She will also be so excited to “jam’ with her older brother who she very much looks up to. Happy Birthday Carrie!
