Kid Guitars

I love Christmas!  I look forward to it every year.  The best part of it for me is selecting that perfect gift that is sure to put a smile on my loved one’s face.  Call me corny and maybe a bit too nostalgic but I truly believe that it is better to give than receive, especially this time of year.  I know what to get my husband and my twenty year old daughter but oh what to get Tad, my thirteen year old son?  

As I ponder in my mind how to get that genuine smile which conveys, “I LOVE IT!” on my sons face Christmas morning, I reflect on a conversation I had with my old college friend several weeks ago.  She said that her fifteen year old son wanted to play in a rock band called “The  RockinTweeners”.  After much debate, my college friend and her husband got a very affordable childrens guitar.   Upon reflection, I realize that could be just the gift I am looking for.   I think Tad will love that and get hours of fun out of it!   I think a beginner electric guitar will put the smile on my son’s face that I dream about!
