Kid Guitars

Both of my sons seem to want to follow the beat of the drum.  As a father I am glad that they have interests.  I have friends who find it difficult to get their kids interested in anything, so I count myself lucky!  My fourteen year old son has been playing drums since about the age of seven when we bought him a childrens drum set.  He has since outgrown the kids drum set so we recently bought him an adult sized more professional drum set.  Our younger son, (now age six) has been more than excited to bang on his brother’s old childrens drum set!  Our older son would allow him to play the drums every now and then and his kid brother viewed this as a GREAT privilege!

Our older son can teach our younger son but my wife and I think we will get him some lessons so that he can learn proper technique before really bad habits set in.  We always look forward to what the future holds and more than anything we want our boys to be happy.  Maybe they will play together in a band one day.  We’ll see!
