Kid Guitars

My son has been pretty much obsessed with the guitar for most of his life.  It seems like he came out of the womb playing the guitar!  At the age of three we bought him a toy guitar which he played non stop.  When he turned six we got him a childrens electric guitar.  Now at the age of twelve he wants a new guitar.  Look I grew up loving the guitar too so I understand the value and the importance of a really cool guitar , but there are other things in life!

Unlike me, I do think that my son was born to be a rocker and I do really try and support his dream.  His mother is sometimes less enthusiastic but someone does have to be practical.  I do think now that my son has advanced pretty far, it is time to get him proper instruction.  Even though he has basically taught himself I still feel that he needs to learn proper technique and maybe even try to “unlearn” some bad habits.  I can hardly wait to see what the world will hold for him one day!
