Kid Guitars

My illustrious son believes that he is sure he has a promising career as the drummer of a major rock n roll band.  I am in support of his dreams, his mother however offers less enthusiasm and says that he can play drums as long as he continues his studies and has a backup plan if his plan to reach “Rock God” status does not pan out.  Someone in the family needs to have a practical approach!   Much to my surprise and my wife’s chagrin, our youngest daughter has been “begging” us for her very own kids drum set!  I don’t see the harm in it and she just happens to have a birthday coming up in May.

I have taken the liberty of looking online for kids drum sets and have some good websites bookmarked.  Now it’s just a matter of convincing my wife to “lighten up” and go along with the fun.  I’m sure my wife will use drum playing as a reward for completed chores and homework assignments.  I am in agreement with that plan.  Both my son and daughter can “bang on the drums” but not all day long!
