A Kids Electric Guitar, What A Perfect Gift!!

My mom bought me my first guitar when I was only seven years old and it was an acoustic guitar. As much as I love playing on an acoustic NOW, as a youngster all I wanted to do was ‘rock out!’ As a kid who idolized Eddie Van Halen and Slash, I wanted to play a flying-V, which is something that you couldn’t get for kids back then. I didn’t know what I was missing
Now, parents have an easier time finding electric guitars for kids, as many guitar companies are expanding their reputations to include children’s lines. While acoustics are good starts, if you have a kid who definitely wanst to “rock”, I would recommend an electric. It’s a little loud, but hey, that’s what earplugs are for, mom and dad. Also, electrics just sound better. What a great Christmas gift for your kid this year!!

Juggling My Job As Santa With The Responsibilities Of Christmas!!!

My wife and I have literally become “professional jugglers” like most parents have. We feel forced as many of you do to have that “multi-tasking thing” down! Part of our juggling act this holiday season is to host Thanksgiving for our large family consisting of about 20 people, go on a Christmas cruise the first week in December with my wife children and her parents, host an office Christmas party for my wife, and help my wife buy gifts for her large family and mine! My wife usually does most of the planning and I basically do whatever she tells me on my never ending ‘honey do’ list. One of my tasks, she says is to choose a kids drum set to give to our son on Christmas day. I actually like this assignment and will begin looking at drums for children on line. I do believe that a childrens drum set will thrill our son BEYOND belief!
A perusal of some local music stores and a search online should give me a lot to choose from regarding kids drum sets. I’m sure that on Christmas morning our family will (like it or not) get to hear our son’s enthusiastic first beat of the drum! I know I can’t wait!!

My wife told me that we must get our adorable little daughter a childrens electric guitar for Christmas! Her best friend just got her son one and my wife says it’s so cute and we just HAVE to get our daughter one this year! I have to admit that even though I wouldn’t have thought of it, the idea has really grown on me! My wife and I are big kids ourselves and we have already been having a ball looking at electric guitars for children online. Our nephew has been playing acoustic guitar for awhile and has recently formed a trio with two of his friends and they are hoping to start performing in coffee houses. I know our daughter looks up to him.
We have a lot of fun in our family and for that we are truly blessed. However someone has to run the finances. My wife and I will have to have a budget as we have a lot of people to buy for this Christmas. I must admit however that come Christmas, our daughter will be thrilled beyond belief when she sees the cool guitar Santa (i.e. her parents) have bought her!
When my husband gets excited about something he pulls all out all the stops and its no holds barred! He recently told me that after having a heart to heart talk with our young and curious son about what he wants most for Christmas, our son said an electric guitar is a must. After a thoughtful but most enthusiastic pause, my eager to please husband said that Santa would have a kids guitar on his sleigh without a doubt! My husband went to work immediately to find the best and fanciest kids electric guitar in town and online! The ever practical part of me said “Wait a minute buster!” And so I began my search for discount kids guitars! The results actually looked pretty promising.
We have a lot of planning and budgeting to do to get ready for Christmas this year and a childrens electric guitar may in fact fit the budget! I am all for supporting my children as long as we live within our means. My husband and I will probably continue to battle over finances but I am glad that in time we are usually able to work things out! Wishing everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving!!
We just got through celebrating our daughter’s fifteenth birthday and as can happen, we spent more money then we should,(despite our best intentions it always seems to happen). Now with Christmas just around the corner, we really need to pull our finances together because we have quite a few gifts to buy! Our adorable little six year old has let us know that what he wants most for Christmas is a kids guitar like his very best friend Jonathan. My husband who wants to honor his children’s wishes hopes he can honor this one. I however am always the bargain hunter. I know that I can look online and find discount childrens guitars that are good quality and my kid will adore!
It seems that my son has a good idea of the type of guitar he wants so now it’s just a matter of trying to find what he is looking for at a decent price. It always makes me feel good to see what bargains I can find. I think I could make a living doing this for other people and just have a ball. So I think my youngster will be ‘rockin out’ on a very affordable childrens electric guitar on Christmas morning!
When my son was diagnosed as having Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), I was at a total loss. I already knew that he had a behavioral problem because it was so hard to get him to focus and get anything accomplished. He tends to be all over the place, He couldn’t sit down in church, and he always got lost in the mall because he was running about and couldn’t stay where he was supposed to.
His therapist told me that I shouldn’t worry because there are many other cases of ADHD kids growing up to be normal with above average intelligence. She simply advised me to help him find an outlet for his energy. She gave me several options including a trampoline, childrens drumsets, or a basketball. We chose to get our son a childrens drumset. Slowly I am beginning to understand my son’s condition, and with the proper knowledge in dealing with it, I know that I can raise him to become a competent adult.
My son has been a musical enthusiast ever since the day he was born. He seemed to bang on the side of his crib in a succinct rhythm as a toddler and then as he got older he would tap the table or anything he could find. We’d be in a store and he’s start banging on the counter or banging in the car on the way to the store, he was just out of control! When he turned five I knew what we had to get him for his birthday, a kids electric guitar! My girlfriend was in immediate agreement! We had fun looking at all the childrens guitars available online!
My son’s birthday was a smashing success. To say that he LOVES this particular kids guitar is quite an understatement and if it were up to him he would play morning, noon and night! We want to support his interests and I don’t know if being a musician is his future but I am glad that he is enjoying it so much right now!

I was not aware that childrens electric guitars existed but my buddy told me that he just bought one for his youngest son and it was really pretty inexpensive. This is very good to know! I too have a young son who I really believe would enjoy learning to play electric guitar. On a whim I started looking for childrens guitars online and I am thrilled at how many cool guitars are available for a kid his age. I might even get one for myself and my girlfriend, (just kidding!)
My son seems to really like music but he is a little shy so I think this might be a hobby to bring him “out” a little. As a father it can be hard sometimes to find the line between encouraging and not pushing. We will try out the guitar and if he doesn’t like it so be it. I need to expose my child to all I can and hopefully something will stick
Last month we bought our daughter a kids acoustic guitar. She couldn’t be any happier than a pig in mud! All of our children love music and do play instruments, our daughter plays the piano and the flute and our youngest son plays the drums but is now interested in playing guitar but not just electric guitar. He wants to play acoustic guitar like his buddy Tad. So I guess now we will go guitar shopping yet again.
I think we will look at some childrens acoustic guitars as I saw some online and they seem to be quite affordable and very good quality. Our son is very ambitious and gets along well with his peers. He is a Cub Scout and has a nice little group of neighborhood buddies. He and Tad say they want to perform together and be ‘Rock Stars!’ Christmas is around the corner and we know that a kids guitar will make our son so happy and he will learn to play guitar quickly because he appears to really have some musical ability. This is really very exciting for the whole family!
Our very adorable nine year old daughter is SO excited about her tenth birthday that is coming up on the twentieth of November. She really wants to play the drums in the worst way and my husband and I believe that it would be a great idea to get her a kids drum set. My sister got her son a childrens drum set two years ago and it went over so well that I have no problem getting one for my daughter. I will start bookmarking sites that include childrens drum sets that pique the interest of both my wife and myself. We need to act soon as her birthday will be here before we know it!!
I am excited to watch my kids grow and nothing makes me happier than to see them so happy! I am probably just as excited as my daughter is for his birthday to come! They’re only young once and I don’t want to miss a minute! It is very fun to live vicariously through my kids and I am enjoying this period in my life.
