crazyDuring the 70’s there was one band that towered over all of the others: Led Zeppelin. Arising from the remnants of The Yardbirds, the band featured the premier musician at virtually every position in the band. While all of the members are now famous—or infamous depending on whom you consult—the guitarist Jimmy Page stands alone in rock lore.

Not only was Page the most prolific guitarist of his time, but he also added to his allure due to his associations with magic and the occult. During concerts, Page would employ an assortment of crazy guitars and accessories to enhance his performance. From using a bow to play his guitar to the famous double-necked model used for the epic “Stairway to Heaven,” Page’s stage performances have become a thing of legend.

girl 11 rocker beginner childrens guitarsFor the most part Christmas was a success.  The kids seemed happy, my wife seemed happy and again all was well in our little humble abode.  We seemed to have a lot of success this year with our middle daughter who finally got her most prized possession in life, a kids electric guitar!  She is very happy about this and has already been gearing up to give a little “concert” for our friends who will be coming over to the house on New Year’s Eve!

I am happy for my daughter and we are glad because we looked at so many beginner childrens guitars before we finally found the right one and as soon as we saw the Hannah Montana guitar, we knew we had to get it for her!   I guess we will have to encourage her to watch the learn to play guitar DVD’s that we bought her.  As long as she doesn’t ask us to be her manager and take her on auditions, I’m fine, kids!
