What are we going to do? Christmas isn’t too far away and we are trying to figure out how we can afford nice gifts for our kids. We pride ourselves on being able to get them most things that they want within reason. It is a little tougher this year since my husband got laid off in September. We will simply have to economize the best we can. Jason wants an electric guitar and that just seems like an impossibility this year! My husband says that we may be able to afford a kids guitar after all because he has just heard of some really good discount kids guitars available online.
I hope we can also find some other discounted items for our other two children. The economy has made things tough and one of the best values we can teach our children is that quality family time means the most, gifts or not. I hope that this will be the best Christmas ever as we all just enjoy being together!

Most people like the sound of a good guitar. I am no exception. I want to share this love with the people in my life. My best buddy Eric’s son Frankie seems to share my passion. When I am at their house we often “jam” on Eric’s guitar. I am going to look for my own electric guitar so I can live out my childhood “rock star” fantasy.
I am trying to convince Eric that a childrens guitar would be “perfect” for Frankie. I told Eric that we could look online for kids electric guitars. I think I may have him sold on the idea that not only it is a good investment but could help him learn a skill that he will truly enjoy! Maybe we’ll even form our own band.
